Re: hp probook 440 g3 bios

Hi Guys, I need help with the attached BIOS of the HP ProBook 440 G3.

Original BIOS gives two long beeps then two shorts beeps (or viceversa, can´t remember well now)

I tried the one from fists posts with CLEAN ME, it makes the laptop boots, but gives a notice about production mode...

I wrote all the data I could find in labels within the laptop but that notice bever goes away.

Also I tried to clean / copy ME region from read bios to a new one, but no luck.

Can someone hepl me with this?

      Thanks in advace

Hello guys, All of you here which I respect for your skills and kindness.
I would like to ask for some helps.

It is HP Probook 440 G3 DAX61CMB6C0 Rev.C. with Intel i5 Gen 6 processor and AMD Graphic.

Here is my laptop's bios with 2 long beeps 2 short beeps without displaying.
            the current arround 0.850A-0.700A

I have tried many "ok and tested" bios from several backups from mahmood javan's group and none of them are working, all of them consume 0,170A-0,185A.

I believe this caused by bios Corruption since I already did some CHIP Reflow and still no luck. Please help.
            Thanks in advance!

Bricked HP Probook 450 G7 Bios questions
                            by studdy05
Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

                            Ive got...

                            Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                            🧩 Initial Issue
                            • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                            • External display (HDMI) shows
                            ...

                            by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
