Sorry for my ignorance, how I can apply the EC to my motherboard? I try it inserting the file in a USB and starting the computer, but nothing happens. Any body can explain me a bit? Because I am facing the same problems than others, when start computer after few seconds shut down. If I disconnect HDD and boot from USB it works forks. Thanks so much. And great forum.Comment

Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I'm not looking for a specific BIOS file, I'm trying to understand how one makes a clean BIOS file. So here's the background. I have 2 HP EliteDesk 800 g2 mini 35w pcs. One is working fine; the other doesn't have display out or working USB's nor does it have any flashing error lights. The CPU does get worm enough to cause the fan to spin up, so I think it's posting, but I just don't know. I had it working at one point but trouble started when I tried to put in a drive caddy that had a cooling fan on it. I thought it would be compatible but wasn't... -
Hello Everyone,
I have HUAWEI MateBook X Pro 2019 (MACH-WX9) whose BIOS got corrupted i beleive. I have acquired Ch341A SPI flasher to program the BIOS externally. I see that to program the BIOS, i need BIOS bin/hex file which i could use to reflash it externally via the flasher tool.
It seems like the support page of this model no longer exist: https://consumer.huawei.com/be/lapto...ro-2019/specs/
In the website, you can only see specs etc.
I have not tried to extract the BIOS dump yet as I want to see if there is any ray of sunshine... -
