I wanted to share my experience fixing the BIOS on an Asus FA608UH laptop. Hopefully, this information and the attached dumps will save someone else a lot of time.
Laptop Specifications:- Model: Asus FA608UH
- Motherboard Platform: Quanta JW1 (DANJWIMBAA0 REV:A)
The laptop came to me from another repair shop. They had flashed a clean dump from the official website but forgot to prepare it or transfer the original DMI block. As a result, all the original factory data was completely lost, and they didn't backup the original corrupted BIOS file either.... -

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask for this, but I was unable to find a better one, so here goes.
Does anyone have a known good dump of an MP2884A MPS chip from ASUS FX507 6050a3467102-mb-a01?
I only have the one from JFIXX's collection of dumps that is attached - not sure if it's a good one though, that's why I decided to ask just in case.

I’m troubleshooting an ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi motherboard and I’m a bit stuck at the BIOS level. What I’ve tried so far- Attempted to flash the BIOS using the USB BIOS FlashBack (Q-Flash) port with a properly formatted FAT32 USB drive.
- BIOS file downloaded directly from the official ASUS support page.
- Followed the exact FlashBack procedure (correct port, renamed file, standby power only).
Issue:
The FlashBack LED does not blink at all — no activity whatsoever. Further investigation

Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.
What I currently have available:
- Model: FA506NF (2021)
- BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
- Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

I'm trying to recover a ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED (model UP6502ZA, serial R1N0CV06A262028, motherboard 60NB0W20-MB1030) which stopped booting after a Windows 11 update. The laptop powers on but there's no display and no POST.
I have a CH341A v1.612 programmer with a WSON 6x5mm pogo adapter. I managed to get two identical consecutive reads, so I believe my corrupted dump is "reliable".
