BIOS lock = password? If so, it is not possible to reset it from any jumper. Flash BIOS via programmer to remove the password.A working TV? How boring!Originally posted by PeteS in CA -

I didnt get any code with 6720s compaq, and even shorting bios chip didnt work. 6730b could be same thingComment

I'm dealing with a classic BIOS corruption issue on an HP Pavilion 15-n058sr and hoping someone here might have the original BIOS file or point me in the right direction.
Symptoms:- Laptop powers on but no display at all (completely black screen)
- Caps Lock blinks twice with a pause, then repeats continuously
- F12 LED stays on permanently
- No POST, no boot sequence, nothing on screen
Based on HP diagnostic codes, the 2-blink Caps Lock pattern indicates BIOS corruption/failure.

Hi guys, i have a problem , my bios resets disabled overclocking lock setting to enable after reboot, please tell me which function can be responsible for restoring the stock config for this option, loading parameters from nvram and so on, like bios ,protection, from asus. I'm requesting a bios .bin for 2 of my hp Probook 450 G3's. Both of which I had forgotten the bios passwords. I stupidly flashed both of them with firmware "made" by the RCUnlocker software and I guess I shouldn't have. The last thing I did was flash both of them with RCUnlocker-fw thinking it would 100% work and left my programmer etc behind and won't have access to them for another 2 days so I figured I'd create a thread to see if I'd be so lucky that someone might have a working file laying around 😝
