Nvidia 9600MGT MXM - need bios

I bought an Acer 5735 with this removable card in it. The trouble is there is an insulting racist message that shows on the screen before the bios loads and I can't get it off. I can't sell the laptop with this on it! Because it is the first thing that I see on the screen before the bios I think it is coming from the video card bios. Here is a summary of the message:

    OBSCENE MESSAGE
    VERSION 62.94.3c.00.17
    ENGINEERING USE-NOT FOR PRODUCTION
    Copyright C 1996-2008 Nvidia Corp
    512 RAM

I have a bios programmer and if I could get a copy of the bios for this card I can erase the chip and put the new bios on it. I hope that will get rid of the message. If I had more knowledge I could probably edit the existing bios but I don't have this ability.

Does anybody have a bios for this graphics card? Grateful for help. I've attached aphoto of the type of card.

Well, the bios you steered me to was fine. When I put the chip in the programmer I could see the words I wanted to get rid of so I could have just deleted them I guess or over written them. Instead I used the bios from that site and it loaded up fine. Some trouble getting the chip back on the graphics card but all good now.

          NVidia bumpgate

Just archiving everything related to bumpgate since most stuff has disappeared from Google. Maybe people will finally take the time to read some of it and stop shouting "reflow gpu" at every occasion but rather try to understand what the real issue is…
Interesting parts about the failure analysis are "Why Nvidia's chips are defective" and "Why Nvidia's duff chips are due to shoddy engineering"

May complete this post at a later date with more details.
Basically issue is a combination of thermal dissipation of the chip with hotspot,...

          ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
          by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
          Some issues
          A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

          Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
          by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
          by Wahaz
          Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
