HP really messed this up, not extracting properly the BIOS for your laptop from the .exe
They used the same BID for Skylake/Kaby Lake (6th and 7th gen) and Kaby Lake Refresh (8th gen)
There's 2 BIOS variants 08328"A" and 08328"B", latest version that should work for 6th/7th gen is F.52, yet the update.exe only extracts one, overwriting the other....
They use the same PCB LA-E791P, just the motherboard model and BID is not enough to differentiate BIOS variants; had to do some tricks to get the .exe to extract properly...
Do not update BIOS to F.75, it will likely brick it again
