the second bios i sent is from 845 g10 main and EC it works in G10 unlocking. and surprisingly it boots also in your G11 but it doesn't unlock. i think the SIO programming is different. is there any way to read SIO chip @ Maxpower3??? maybe you can help here or short SIO pins for a second just like the Lenovo to bypass.

Hey everyone,
I recently bought a CH341A programmer, but I’m still not 100% sure what to do next. I couldn’t find any tutorials specifically for the HP Elitebook 835 G11, so I’m trying to piece things together.
From what I’ve learned so far, the process looks something like this:- Use the programmer to read the chip.
- Save a backup of the dump.
- Open the .bin file in Hex Workshop.
- Replace certain lines with “FF”.
- Write the modified file back to the chip.
- Boot the laptop → password should be gone.
I’ve also heard that some systems have both a Main chip and an EC chip. I asked a guy on Telegram (who does BIOS password removals on YouTube), and he told me I only need to work on the Main chip.
Another thing:The HP Elitebook 835 G11 has the Q25W256JW chip and it requires a 1.8V adapter. I didn’t want to risk frying it, so I ordered the adapter and am waiting for it to arrive.
So my questions are:- Is this the right approach for the HP Elitebook 835 G11 ?
- Do I really only need to modify the Main chip?
- Any tips or insights before I start?
Happy to share any info I’ve gathered if it helps others too.

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

Hello,
I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
