Hello. I have similar problem with one of these boards - I have one school laptop that i need to fix that have the BIOS "corrupted" - do not even boot to BIOS it self. Changing the UEFI from another (damaged) board and the system boots to UEFI but refuses "to see" (it blocks the access to) the SSD. NOTE - Can boot to USB Linux in it but the SATA SSD wont show up in kernel. Of course cannot boot to Windows because i do not have the SSD functional.
Now,t his is clearly some ME or the security module (CUCo) inside that is blocking or not enabling SATA interface. Using UEFITool we can see exactly that module in the flash file.

I am trying to detect where the serial number is stored so i can copy (or write it) to the known good boot UEFI. I have contacted the importer asking them if they can send me an original file to flash it but they refuse - they want to sell another motherboard... so is not an option. The motherboard is good...

I do not think that cleaning the ME region will resolve the issue. There are some scripts that disable ME - i am reading them and try to see if i can.
Trying also to clean NVRAM, because it can cause freezing in some laptops after the BIOS could even switch on the graphics.

Comparing the EC zone and the BIOS (code) modules between two files (dumped both bios chip) they are equal - so the problem is in the "data" segments (NVRAM) not the code (but it is buggy because of this lockup).
The UEFITool can extract all modules without any problem in any of this two dumps, so the "corruption" is not bad flashing or bad flash sector, or else there were errors.

NOTE/IMPORTANT: I do not want to disable nor remove the CUCo module because it is needed to be there - so we can block the computer if conditions apply. But i want to know how to fix this UEFI so i can repair future cases - those are school laptops and if we can save some money to the organization, better.

Ok, so lets see what you can make.
Attached is the "BAD" flash with its serial number in its name (GW1W1490006778), and
one that is working ok in its respective motherboard (GW1W149001227). As i wrote before, if i solder the "OK" chip in de "BAD" motherboard, the system works aside the SATA port not "detected".
Note: I uploaded ZIP file because i can not upload bin. The "_OK" and "_BAD" part, of course, are not in the Serial Number...

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
          by Wahaz
          Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

          🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
          by macabook
          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
          🧩 Initial Issue
          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
          • External display (HDMI) shows

Zephyrus G14 GA401QH-211 Bios missing serial number
          by evilgenius31
          Hi All,

I was told to post my corrupted bios dump here. My Zephyrus G14 GA401QH-211 is missing the serial number in the bios. NVME drives can't be detected by the bios either. The bios version is 410.

          Serial: M4NRKD01530915H

          Thanks in advance!...

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
          by cr4zychriss
          Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

          Dear Forum Readers!

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
