Just in case someone was looking for this information. Lenovo Flex 7 14IRU8 has a nasty problem where if a computer decides that the contents of an area on the BIOS chip mismatches a corresponding area on the EC chip, the BIOS gets rewritten by the EC on startup.
Case in point, I have a Flex 7 14IRU8 computer that requires double reboot in order to boot into Windows after every system shutdown (restart option boots into Windows every time). Thinking that this was a corrupted BIOS, I just swapped the BIOS chips between this computer and a healthy one. After I did this, BIOS self-repair kicked in on both computers and after the upgrade now both computers exhibit the same issue. Restoring the original EC contents fixes the problem.Comment

Hello, the bios on my Lenovo TD350 ThinkServer got corrupted during a bios update, the bios restore function killed the Server.
I need to flash the bios inside the MX25L12835F SOP8, i have already desolder the chip and solder it into my SOP8 adapter and read it with a ROM programmer.
I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?

I’m working on a Lenovo ThinkBook 13s Gen 3 ACN (AMD Ryzen 5 5600U) with a Winbond W74M12JW 16MB BIOS chip
Symptoms:- No display, fan spins, white LED blinking
- Temporary boot after flashing another BIOS
- Dies again after reboot
- Current BIOS dump appears corrupted (mostly FF-filled, no valid UEFI structure)
What I already tried:- External flash with CH341A + proper 1.8V supply
- Flashed GMCN33WW-031F.bin (booted once, then failed again)
- Reflashed original dump → same issue
- Power reset, battery disconnect
- RAM reflow attempt (no change)

Hello, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen1 with a likely corrupted BIOS.
As soon as the power adapter is plugged in, the fan runs at full speed, but nothing else happens. When I search for the original BIOS version with UVPD, I get N3BET61W, but this exact version has been withdrawn by Lenovo.
Unfortunately, I can't find any other original BIOS for this model.
