I have this laptop with the serial number 5CG3237FCC and I need to remove the bios password from it. The HP autopatcher i found online didn't work sadly. Let me know if any more info is needed! Thanks!

Any file starting with a 2 is the back chip, starting with 1 is the front chip. I believe the back chip is the EC dump.

try first boot apply factory defaults and restart. use BCU

Which chip should I be flashing? The back or the front..I assume that I have to flash the front chip right? Also what is the meaning of BCU? rex98

rex98, Thanks for the help! It worked perfectly.. Only issue is that the Born On date changed but i don't think that matters.
