Dell XPS 8910 Coffee Lake support
I have a Dell XPS 8910, I was wondering if Coffee Lake support could be added to it. Via the Coffeetime mod, my attempts have led to an unbootable bios. I would like to have support for 6th, 7th, 8th gen CPUs if possible, but 8th gen is a priority. Attached is the clean dump.
Service tag:5NTCSD2
express service code: 12323939222...

I checked in the BIOS as well, and it is the same Serial, with the zeroes being zeroes with lines slashed through them signifying so. I don't know why the serial number lookup doesn't work. But I'm sure that it's the right serial....

The serial number is correct.. Copied directly from System Settings in KDE plasma....

t480 BIOS update
Hi, I have a thinkpad t480, the BIOS won't update via Windows update or manually. Fwupd doesn't work either. Here is a dump of my bios. Could it be updated to version 1.44 please?...

Which chip should I be flashing? The back or the front..I assume that I have to flash the front chip right? Also what is the meaning of BCU? rex98rex98

Any file starting with a 2 is the back chip, starting with 1 is the front chip. I believe the back chip is the EC dump.

Greetings BadCaps forum,
I dumped the BIOS of the system and tried to remove the bios password via the methods listed in the megathread but they didn't work. Could I please get the BIOS password removed from this image?
Thanks!...
