    Acer E5-576G -- how to flash bios with USB?

    I downloaded this .bin file. https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=2100703

    so can i put the file on a USB stick and flash it using FN+ESC? Or do I need a bios chip programmer?

      The file you downloaded is complete bios file and needs to programmed with an spi programmer.

          Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

          My problem:my current bios is corrupted , i didn't do any bios update and I don't know why it got corrupted , now I want to flash bios again.
          I want to flash from usb because my laptop cannot run or install os.
          What I tried:
          I downloaded the latest bios file from acer website but it is .exe file which I don't think is bootable.
          Help Needed:
          Someone please share a usb bootable bios flash file for this or any other bios version which will work for my laptop....

          I'm not a super pro like some here, when it comes to firmware. I have a machine with the following specs:
          ENVY X360
          15-ew0013dx
          SN: CND2261KS3
          Prod: 698V0UA
          Board: LA-M021P Rev 1A
          Chip# Winbond 25R128JVSN​

          Basically, when I power it up, I get no video, and the fans run hard - nothing else. Seems like a BIOS issue to me, so I posted a request in the BIOS request section. I haven't heard anything back(and that's fine) So I tried downloading the BIOS from HP, then I extracted it and flashed it onto the chip. Unfortunately, all I get is the power...

          Hi all,

          My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
          The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
          When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
          (I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

          I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.
