        Hi,

can omeone please build a new bios from the old backup file? I assume it is corrupt since one voltage rail on the mainboard is missing. That rail is present with a donor bios but the board does not boot - obviously.
        Original dump attached.
Bios file from Asus website attached with first 2kb removed.

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.

post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

You have the new bios file, what more do you want ? If it still doesn't work, then you have a hardware problem that hasn't been fixed yet.

Are the files from the ASUS website complete bios files? I read online that they ony contain partial data - just the one that gets updated during official upgrade process.

                That's the complete bios file.

                  Thanks for clarifying!

The thing is: The missing voltage rail is present with the "Asus website" bios flashed but the system does not post. The voltage rail is missing with my original bios. That made me think that I´m missing something.

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
                    by pirati
                    Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

                    Hello everyone,

I have an ASUS TUF A17 (model TUF707NV-HX088W, motherboard NJS / DA0NJSMBAF0 Rev F) that is locked by an UEFI BIOS password.

I have already checked the BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools section but could not find a working method for this specific model.

                    Details:

                    – Serial number: S7NRCX05W03829E
                    – Issue: UEFI BIOS password locked (no access to BIOS setup or boot options)

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                    by grimacelord
                    Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                    by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
