    asus vivobook n7600p bios file

    asus vivobook n7600p bios file needed. device stays black screen with idle power and does nothing. attached is what i believe to be the original bios file.

        post the original bios of the laptop even if it is corrupted,the motherboard model, etc.

                          flash that working bios back again, when an image shows on external but not on screen its a bad cable or screen.

                        Replaced faulty it5125vg-128. No powerdraw, no reaction to powerbutton. Corrupted BIOS?

                        Model Asus N7600P
                        Mainboard = X7400PC R2.2

                        you have to write embedded flash of ITE. From what I know is 128Kb but i see that EC extracted from bios update has 256Kb. Try 1st 256Kb, if you have errors writing it try 128Kb.

                          Thank you for input. I thought that the new ITE was self programmed by the main BIOS. Could a faulty BIOS would make this mechanism not work? Maybe im wrong. Im just a beginner trying out this fun stuff. Input much appreciated.

                            in some cases - when ITE has a empty flash, but you have to leave it powered on for 3-4 hours. If embedded flash was not empty you have to erase it 1st with a programmer connected to keyboard connector.

                              Left it on for 4-5 hours. Same result.
                              I see the thread was merged so I tried to flash outimage1.bin mentioned above. Now PD does not negotiate 20V, only 5V.
                              Might have to look into the programmers needed for EC
