Hi,
BIOS update bricked my laptop - after restart the was a prompt to Proceed with ROM flash or Abort. None of 2 options worked - upon restart the same prompt shown.
I downloaded [BIOS update].exe file from Lenovo Support > extracted [firmware descriptor].fd file > renamed it to [correct crisis file name].bin.
With crisis file on USB drive the Proceed with ROM option launches recovery - after displaying the current and the new BIOS version, the process terminated immediately with validation error:
Not allow flash. Boot Guard version verification failed
I found a similar issue fixed for another Lenovo model a month before my laptop's latest BIOS release date:

Is there any chance that my corrupted BIOS could be recovered in the crisis mode if the manufacturer fixes the issue in the future BIOS release?
