    Acer Nitro 17 VN7-793G Black Edition Neptune_KLS Thunderbolt firmware

    Hello,

    does anybody have the firmware for the TPS65982DA conroller? Type-C 3.1 gen 2 and HDMI is not working. I have replaced Alpine Ridge controller JHL6340 so far (bought on Ali Express), since it had low resistance on one of the HDMI diff pairs. I tried the firmware from the VN7-792G, which has TPS65982ZQZR (different index!) onboard which at least has stopped hanging when restarting and HDMI started showing discolored picture on my monitor with DVI adapter (but no picture on my TV with native HDMI port). Would be glad if someone could upload working firmware, so I can proceed with the diagnosis. Firmware is contained in SPI flash chip W25Q80DVSSIG with position marking U7102.

    Please post the laptop serial number and a U7102 and bios backup if possible.

        Bios backup. Update: I realized that I posted old BIOS, currently latest V. 1.11 is installed which I have extracted from the official update and populated with DMI information and Windows Key. I can read and post current BIOS if it is relevant.

          Some friendly notebook repair shop sent me a TB dump from a working VN7-793G.
