    Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 Ryzen 7 NM-C801

    Hello, I have a Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 Ryzen 7 processor

Computer turns on but no keyboard backlight / no video. I get all the voltages, cpu gets hot, fan spins. I think it's bad BIOS issue.

Please, help me rebuild the bios:

    Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 Ryzen 7
    NM-C801 motherboard
    Serial# PF2RRNX4
    Type: 20UD-000GUS

Could you possibly make a backup of the eeprom marked UPTU2 in schematic to help one of our other members ?

How do I do that? I only have CH341a.

SMDFlea, perhaps I can fix the bios first to confirm computer boots. Then, may be you can walk me thru how to extract eeprom (UPTU2) using basic tools. Can I still use CH341a for this job?

            Hello everyone,

I got T14 Gen1 with no image on LCD and HDMI after BIOS flash failed. Machine powered off during update procedure. Laptop reacts normal on power button, also CPU is heating and fan reacts normal. I tried multiple bios dumps, but looks like problem is somewhere else. Got another board that also failed on bios update and it acts same.

            Machine details are:

            Type: 20UE-S0VT01
            SN: PF-35YE3K
            Board model: NM-C801

I need dumps of following eeproms so I can try this as last step..

Motherbard marking / IC model / Package - IMAGE OF LOCATION PROVIDED

            UC3 / W25Q128JWSIQ / SOIC8 - 200mil - FILE ATTACHED

            U15 / W25Q80JVSSIQ / SOIC8 - 200mil

            UPTU2 / W25Q40CLSNIG / WSON8 6x5 (for some reason schematic shows W25Q80DVZPIG) - FILE ATTACHED

            UL5 / W25Q80DVSNIG / SOIC8 - 150mil

            U2 / IT5261-512-AX / VFBGA

            U3 / IT8300FN-CX-R / QFN48 6x6

            Thnx to everyone

              Hello everyone,
              Please help

There is no sign of life when connecting charger to both of two USB-C ports on my Thinkpad T14 Gen 1 AMD but it still with battery connected. I think there is a U15 ROM chip in the back side of mother board incharge of PD Controller. I need dump of this U15 Eeproms to try.
              Machine details are:

              Type: 20UD-000HUS
              SN: PF-2E5SSE
              Board model: NM-C801
              U15: WINBOND W25Q80

              Thanks a lot

Couldn't backup EC, have to solve this issue :
I have micro_Vision programmer Rev: 4.1 with connectors supporting Max 32 pins, whereas T14 keyboard connector has 40 pins. I tried to read the IT5261VG-512 EC with a 32 pin cable 0.5mm but always got error reading message "ITE do not respond check connection and settings MB powered ? (02)", though all pins to read are within the 24 1st pins (so connected to programmer) ?
Any suggestion should be well apreciated.

                                First, thanks for the photos.
Yes indeed, also vertyanov programming software is compatible with MIC-VISION JIG V3.
I did connect the programmer and MB the same way as in the photos and got error "Ite do not respond". But i have to correct, I rather 1st used the 30 pin 0.5mm cable supplied with programmer. Today I solved the issue once I used the 32 pin 0.5mm cable instead (which was supplied with my old svod1 ver2 programmer). So I saved the EC .bin file with password which I attach.
Is their a way to remove the password from the .bin file ? please share. Thanks
