Lenovo Thinkpad T495 AMD bios password locked

    Please can you help me. I erase the chip, then flash the bin patched and now if I turn on the laptop I have a black screen, the fan start to run but then stops and nothing else...
    How can I get the laptop boot again?

    yep, happens to me too with MX (Macronix) chipsets. I advice you to use Winbond, more resilient to multiple desoldering.

    Thanks, it seems I have killed the chip by desoldering and soldering it too many times as it's not even detected by the programmer now. I have ordered a few pieces of the same chip so I could check. I will update as soon as I get them.

    Enter setup with f1
    clear password with two blank password and clear security chip
    save and exit
    after reload your original bios

    I read other post where people figured out to patch but not with autopatcher. They ask and someone send the patched bios.... Can you help me please?
