    toshiba satellite crashes after bios post

    I suspect on CPU caps. it power on, show toshiba logo, try to boot and crash.
    from my experience it is usually bad cpu caps, what do you say???

    try a live linux like ubuntu.
    lots of things can cause that.

      I know it can be anything, but usually in my case was that. But I always like to hear other opinions.

      It doesn't go so far to boot os, it resets before that, just after toshiba logo

          at first try to change Dynamic to always low in bios>advance
          if your laptop is booting maybe the problem is your proadlizer Caps
          Reflow can solve your problem if your problem is your proadlizer caps before you remove and replace Tantalum Capacitors

          remember what is the Part no. of your Nec/tokin before you remove it

              Even if the BIOS freezes at the logo, it's possible that the BIOS is fine.

              My Asus P5QL Pro apparently requires the VDIMM bumped to 1.90V or 1.85V with all RAM slots occupied.
