Acer 5532 bios??

hi everybody,

i've a problem on that laptop,turns on but no display.it sounds to be a bios failure.can someone tells me how to proceed by a usb key.i tried but no success.....may be i must renamed the xxx.fd??

Why does it seem like a bios problem?

Have you reseated the video cable at both ends?

Have you tried an external screen?

on external screen, same issue.surely it's bios problem,at start nothing happen even the hdd led don't blink....i don't think bga has to be reflow or reball, it's a new laptop.thanks for helping

You did not mention that before - you just said there was no display.

If it is new is it still under warranty?

Did you reseat the cable at both ends?

Does the fan come on at all

Does the screen flash at all

Does the power light come on.

Have you tried it without
a, the hard disk
b, the dvd/cd drive
c, the wireless card
d, ram
e the battery

hi,it's not really new about 15 months...warranty passed.fans turns on at start .i've done all you said.i want the procedure to flash the bios on that model but it's not easy to find a tutorial on google.
