Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.

Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. Hello everyone!
I am new to the forum, and could use some help.
I reflash the BIOS of a Dell Latitude 3410 16MB + 8MB with a CLEAR ME bin.
After that the notebook starts in manufactiring mode and does not save the Service Tag in the BIOS.
If I can HEX edit the BIOS and reflash the BIOS again I would like to be taught.
