    laptop lenovo thinkpad x1 yoga gen 1 password reset when starting bios

    Hello! please help me I can’t figure it out, I bought a laptop and it’s password protected when I start it, it asks for a password and I can’t enter the BIOS

          The problem was solved by replacing the ssd drive. Was password protected

              I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

              This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

              Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.

              I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
              I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.

              So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
              Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?

              I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
