Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I do not have a BIOS programmer/reader at the moment, so I'm currently unable to save or dump the BIOS file. Is there any other way to retrieve or back up the current BIOS contents?Comment

I tried booting with Fn+R, and while I heard some beeps, nothing else happened afterward.Comment

Thank you very much for providing the BIOS file. I've just tried the recovery process, but unfortunately, the situation hasn't changed.
I followed the Crisis Recovery procedure and used the [Fn] + [R] key combination while powering on the laptop. I did hear around four beeps, which seems to indicate the system detected the recovery attempt. However, nothing happens afterward—the screen stays black, and the system doesn't proceed any further.
Is there any BIOS setting I need to adjust before attempting this recovery method? Or could there be another reason the recovery isn't completing successfully?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had been trying the recovery process using the BIOS file kindly provided by SMDFlea, testing all combinations of Fn+R, Fn+B, Win+R, and Win+B, with different USB ports and USB drives — but none of them worked. Only Fn+R gave me 5 beeps, which was at least some kind of response.
At that point, I felt stuck. I turned again to ChatGPT for advice and was told that the beeping might indicate a file name mismatch. Based on that suggestion, I renamed the BIOS file to BIOS.cap and also tried JCCrisis.cap. Using BIOS.cap finally did the trick!
It was a long road, and I was seriously considering buying a new laptop. SMDFlea, thank you so much for your help and support — I truly appreciate it.

To get straight to the point: I was finally able to recover the BIOS and successfully boot into Windows.

by claws77my laptop is lenovo flex 5 14ITL05
recently my power supply for this laptop developed a fault.
which caused a short in my usb c port -- verified with a new charger.
rant: so, i went to the repair tech in my country, he asked for a huge repair cost when i decided to get it done someplace else this "great person" nicked my bios chip, asked me to be aware for repair scams lol.
I was stupid and unable to find the flaw at the moment. Another repair tech told me that my bios chip was stolen and an 8mb bios chip is in place of that. he told me that a 32... -
by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-
