    Can anyone help with a bios password reset on a Dell Latitude 5431 (8FC8)?

    MB : HDB45 LA-L871P Rev:1.0(A00)
    CODE : 253SDK3-8FC8

                        Hello, I would say this is the wrong chip.
                        In their newer notebooks, Dell again divides the ME Region and Main Bios into two chips each.
                        There would have to be two chips, one with 16MB (128 SOIC) and one with 32MB (256 WSON 8 QNF CHIP).
                        The chip with the 32MB is required (256 WSON 8 QNF CHIP), only that can be put into manufacturing mode.

                              1st boot, press F2, write service tag, disable Absolute, save (Apply changes), restart. 2nd boot press Alt+F to exit manufacturing mode
