Hi brothers, please i need help diagnose acer nitro 5 no display issue.
model: nitro 5 an515-55
motherboard part number: GH51M LA-K862P Rev: 1A
i received this laptop with a short in power line, it was a capacitor + a mosfet on VCORE line , the laptop turned on cpu and gpu getting warm all voltages seem ok except vcc_gt but no display/caps lock activity also no hdmi out.
i flashed new bios also ec(ene kb9022) the same result .
disabled discrete graphics (rtx 3060 ) by cutting its power and shifting a resisror near pch VCC_GT comes but still the same... -
Problem
This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached.... -
I have a strange problem with my iPad Pro 12.9 4Gen / A2229. When I start the device, it stays on the Apple logo, but when I heat the back of the device with a hair dryer, the device boots, but this time there is an interesting problem. The iPad is charging, but there is no USB data on the computer. The USB charging port has been changed and the chips seem normal, but I have given it to 2 different Apple services in Latvia, but the repair could not be done. Is there anyone who can help with this? Can someone support the repair by sending only the motherboard within Europe? Thank you. -

The device is based on NM-F871 motherboard with Nuvoton NPCK397 series controller. The motherboard also contains three BIOS chips: two different Winbond chips for main BIOS and external EC flash, and also a Gigadevice chip which purpose I do not know. The password information is contained directly in controller and thus can be manipulated by reprogramming it, so reprogramming BIOS chips is technically not required, however you may wish to make... -
Hi, I'm an elevator technician. The attached oscilloscope display picture is from a digital elevator hall arrival lantern data signal. We have been having problems with “ghost signals” causing intermittent hall arrival lanterns to illuminate randomly when the elevator is not actually due to arrive at the floor.
The tech support of the hall arrival board manufacturer (CE Electronics) is blaming the elevator controller manufacturer (MCE), and the tech support of the elevator controller blames the hall arrival board manufacturer.
