Thank you, the board powers up, I get fan spin but the caps lock light blinks 5 long and 3 short blinks. The board is drawing 450mA when the caps light blinksComment

It could be the right bios posted.The DAG7BMB16E1 REV:E motherboard is for 8th and 10th gen i think. The 15-eg1008ni is 11th gen, so maybe its a different base cover,or sticker ? .Originally posted by peste View Post

The BIOS chip is a GD25Q64x [3.3V] 64 Mbits, 8 Mbytes, so a 16Mb bin file can't be correct. The processor is an 8th gen i7 and the board has an Nvidia GPULast edited by DianneW; 07-20-2023, 01:38 PM.Comment
