Thank you, the board powers up, I get fan spin but the caps lock light blinks 5 long and 3 short blinks. The board is drawing 450mA when the caps light blinksComment

The BIOS chip is a GD25Q64x [3.3V] 64 Mbits, 8 Mbytes, so a 16Mb bin file can't be correct. The processor is an 8th gen i7 and the board has an Nvidia GPULast edited by DianneW; 07-20-2023, 01:38 PM.Comment

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

After extensive investigation, Iβm at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I am currently working on recovering my HP Laptop (Model: 17-cn0023dx) after a BIOS corruption issue. The laptop is stuck in a no-boot state, and the Caps Lock light is blinking with a 3.2 code (3 long, 2 short), which according to HP documentation indicates a BIOS corruption failure.
