I also have a problem with my BIOS during the update. Now laptop just light the power button and nothing happend. I also tryed to flash the bios but the programmer show a foult that means "the file is larger than the capacity" 25Q16 is 2mb but the file is 16mb where am i wrong. ?

I got it. Someone before me was made a mess. Both 25q16 and 16mb bios were erased. Flash both chip and the laptop alive.Comment

I have a Lenovo Legion S7 15ACH6 that was interrupted during a BIOS update and is now bricked. Symptoms: fans spin, RGB keyboard lights up, but no display/POST.
The BIOS chip is a Gigadevice GD25LR128. I’m using a CH341A with a 1.8 V adapter. In AsProgrammer I selected GD25Q128 (since GD25LR128 isn’t listed) and successfully made a dump (BiosDump2_pf3eg12j.rar).
My understanding is that I’ll need a known good BIOS dump for this exact model, ideally matched to my laptop’s serial number (PF3EG12J), and that the Windows license key/serial should also... -

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
