    HP OMEN 17-an039ng / DAGG3BBMBCG0 REV: G BIOS issue...?

    Hello my friends,

i'm dealing with a badly liquid damaged motherboard. In the end i additionally figured a corrupted BIOS.

After the succesful repair and flashing "manufacturing mode" BIOS (which i had set up and deavtivated manufacturing mode when done) the board is already working again but in Windows OS i get "Code 43" for the GPU as soon as drivers are being installed. I've tried many different drivers, and worked with DDU, but nothing.

I know. When everything looks normal, and it indeed does look normal, i'm probably dealing with a dead GPU. But after some research i have the feeling i could have managed to source a "wrong" BIOS or to have a corrupted VBios in addition.

What it makes even more weird: i can successfully run a benchmark software like Unigine Superposition in Linux environment with normal results.

I'll leave the corrupted dump, the "code 43" dump and the VBios here for inspection and would be glad if someone takes a look at these files.

    Thank you!

Thank you for the very fast response. I've flashed the BIOS and re-installed Windows 10. Unfortunaly the Code 43 persist. However, the behaviour slightly changed if this means anything:

Instead of a black screen, the display just "freezes" now a few seconds after booting into the OS.

i guess that's it. Thank you for your support again. Really appreciate it!

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
          by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Im probably missing some info to transfer from the old the new one but i cant figure it out what it is.

Surface Pro X 1876 Bios corrupted
          by FalconPunch
Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?

Also i extracted the bios inside the chip which was on Winbond 25R128JWPQ you can find the file attached if you can fix it (if possible, I would like some insight on...
