I don't own a P15 Gen 1, but I would like to look at the BIOS to see if I (or someone else) can mod it to have CSM before I try buying one. Lenovo BIOS files are weird, so I would like a dump from the device itself to analyze.

Hello did anyone got to find a full bios. they managed to damage the chip completly so no chance to recover any data .

I used both ezp2019+ and ch341 i managed to pass the verify error but dont getting any response when is back at the laptop the original damaged chip was a windbond 25Q256JVEQ 2031 6016 42 100 The one i wanted to use is the GIGADEVICE AP1839 25Q256DYIG U8B424
Read both specs and they seem to be the same or im missing something thanks in advance for all your helpComment

Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple... -

Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful.... -
