I would appreciate your help with the following.
I have a BIOS dump of a GL552VW REV 2.0 that needs to be fixed. (BIOS Dump.RAR)
By reviewing the content of the dump, I found that the BIOS version corresponds to GL552VW.216
On the Asus website, I only find the .300 and .304 version. Is there any problem in inserting a higher version than the original? In my case I use the .304 version (GL552VWAS304.rar)
If there were no problems, I went ahead, replacing the BIOS Region section and doing ME cleanup from the dump. (BIOS NEW.rar)
In addition to the previous question, I have doubts about in which sector is the DMI of the dump. According to the following guide (https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=96604) it should be between 0x00260000 and 0x0029FFFF, I would appreciate your confirmation (DMI.JPG).
