    Huawei MediaPad T3 won't charge

Huawei MediaPad T3(AGS-W09) don't charge because has a broken usb port. I have replace the port but now is charge only when the tablet is off and with low Amp draw, about 0.45A

The diode on the picture its broken, where can find a replacement? Anyone knows the specs of this component ?

Read off the topside markings of the diode - the other one beside it looks to be the same.

My educated guess is that this is a TVS diode protecting the D+ / D- pins of the USB 2.0 connector. The flat 4 pad device in front of these 2 x Q7 diodes is the EMI filter.

That is, for quick testing, remove this part and test again. Noting that a transient will NOT be suppressed if one exists on your external USB connected device.

Confirm the operation and then can proceed to replace it.

You have right this diode is connected to D+ / D- pins so can't be related with my problem

The older chargers do use the usb d+ and d- lines to negotiate the voltage and current to charge the battery.

Remove this defective diode and test again.

See here to learn about BC1.2

I removed the diode, tablet is Amp draw about 0.45A if is OFF and 0,08A when is ON.
Do you know with what diode can replace the faulty diode?
