Asus pro p2440uq rev 2.0 not charging

Hi

i have this Laptop, it was shorted to gnd and not turning on. i have found a shorted cap, removed it now laptop starting but it does not always charging. sometime it will charge the battery. so if started with battery and charger it will take power from the battery.

but if started on charger only it works ok

charger IC is Bq24780s . i have replaced it and have same issue

Can someone help ?

Post all voltages on the charger IC.

I highly recommend to check the diode(s) at charging controller VCC

Usually when 19V rail is shorted, first dc-in mosfet also gets shorted(though partially). So its worth checking the resistance of both dc-in fets.

I have mesured resistence on two first mosfet and the first one was shorted, thank you all

Did replacing the 1st dc-in fet solved it or not??
