    Acer ES1-571 Winstron no display

    Hello all,

I have an ES1-571 here with no display, hdmi out or boot.
    Mobo = Wistron Domino_BH

When pressing the power button the LED, fan and backlight turn on.
Fan behaves as it would in normal situation.

All power stages seem good; resistor for internal GPU enable is there.

Have tried several cleaned bios versions online and later cleaned the original myself but did not make any difference.

    Any suggestions?

      Thanks for your message!

A: Visual inspection: I have inspected it again and all looks in great state.

B: CapsLock test: No response at all (there is power on USB ports).

      Any other suggestions?

The issue seems to be similar to: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?p=886122#7
and I have asked the author of that topic @DeniS182 if he ever managed to resolve his problem.

Since most has been ruled out I suspect it's the processor. I have ordered one of those PCIE debug cards as a 'last resort'; in the hope it will still find something

There is not really anything to see; the screen remains black it's just the black with the backlights powered. I mentioned this to indicate (also confirmed it by measuring) that all the power to the display itself is correct.

The fan turns on for a few seconds and then turns off; once in a while it spins up when needed / as it would do in a normal working situation.

Remove the memory stick and check if the logic board offers a POST beep or LED blink code due to the missing RAM.

Already tried but there was no indication of any difference; on this MB there is no buzzer nor LED unfortionately.

I hope is there will be anything useful trough the LPC interface but the connector is unpopulated and I don't have any suitable connector or ribbon cable to solder to it :/

if you have a spare memory that is good try to swap it.

i'm having the same issue with this motherboard, all power rails are present,
it turns on but no display.
                      PLT_RST# 0V
DRAMRST# is pulled low to 0.128V.

Does it mean there is a CPU fault?

As I already mentioned, all power Rails are available, the Problem is PLTRST# 0V
                          DRAMRST# 0.128V

I muss focus first able on DRAMRST# Signal that is pulled low but I am still confused...
