    DELL 1540 black screen

    hi
    inspiron 1540 comes withe black screen and 7beep
    first i flash the bios but same problem
    then i check CPU vcor
    vcor appears but goes off after 5 seconds and mosfets becomes very hot
    i check all the mosfets and caps in vcc track no shorts
    i change ISL62882 becasue the origin one has damaged pins
    but same problem the laptop powe on the cpu becomes hot the vcc core appears but goes off and mosfet on phase 2 becomes very hot .

      the problem solved
      the replacement ic is defective
      i return the original ic and solder the missing pins
      vcor appears
      the laptop works fine now .

          I have search everywhere for a solution for my problem, but cant find it anywhere.

          When I was away to trow some garbage i always look in the electronic bin.
          and this time i find a laptop.
          Dell G3 15 3500, when I get home i look at the battery, add one harddrive, plug in the powercord.
          the lamp for charmig is white.

          Tryed to start it, the screen blink for a second, the keyboard lightsup, the fans and HD starts.
          but no Dell logo.
          I tryed with a hdmi cable to another screen, still black.
          I started to search solution and tryed...

          Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

          My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

          This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...
