a1990 820-01041-A running very slow and high fanspin

I got this board for practice.

It had a liquid damage around U5850.

Cleaned it, ran a jumper and put back one missing resistor (R5850,47ohm) and cap C8286 (1UF).

Fans are still spinning on maximum and machine is running very slow.

I found PP1V8_S5 not present and CPUVR_PGOOD not present.

    Appreciate all help.

820-01949 Running Slow Fast Fan ASD Software Download?
      by Comp_Pro
      Hello all,

I'm trying to repair this A2251 macbook pro. Board is 820-01949. The original issue was liquid damage which all cleaned up well and the board was not heavily damaged. Unfortunately after liquid damage cleaning the computer is running extremely slow and the fan is running at full speed. Even the cursor is lagging. Because of this I can't use the built in hardware diagnostic to give me a clue as to what is happening. Does anyone know if Apple Service Diagnostic software is available for this model? Any other clues which could help me out? Seems to me there is an issue with...

A1990 MacBook Pro 15" Turning on, loads then boot loops, fan spin slow and then fast
      by Stephen
Got a MacBook Pro 15" A1990 with a board issue, The board turns on, I did a DFU revive to see if it needed a firmware patch, that was successful, however the board just keeps boot looping and turning off and on very quickly. Obviously the DATA Is there, but it wont even launch into recovery, it will just die and turn back on with Apple logo, once it gets really hot it dies, if the laptop sits for the day and is cool, it will turn on then get hot within 1 min then die and turn itself on and repeat. Once it does that it turns itself on and off repeatedly in seconds. I put a thermal camera...

820-4924-A MBPr 2015 running slow, possible ME Region?
      by aqibi_
      MBPr 2015 13" Early 2015 820-4924-A

Running slow, with SMC bypass works fine:

It has a NVME SSD Crucial P2 (1TB), tried another NVME adapter too.

      - No water indicators tripped
      - Sensors using iStat /HW show sensible values, only airport showing 129 degree (which is common) since we don't have ASD for this year board.

I have removed and dumped the EFI/BIOS:
      - does cleaning the ME Region make sense?

      Side notes
      1) I do not have the original nor compatible SSD to test with
      2) battery is showing service...

      sn:C02Z349ALVDR;
      i9 32GB Ram 1TB

Hi, I found short on one of 6 black nand (total 1TB).
i removed all 6 nand ( voltages all ok) and now i want to program with JC P15 but for A1990 2019 there is only 512GB configuration.
I try A2141 1TB configurazion with TSB4228 but the position on pcb is different ( U9300 and U9400 is no stuff on A1990 but present on A2141 and U8800 and U8900 is no stuff on A2141 but present on A1990 )
macbook with A2141 configuration run on recovery but don't complete it.
      anyone can help me?

Running Line Voltage and Integrating LED Pods - Automotive
      by FALKLAN
Howdy everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are!

I'm attempting to integrate a couple of LED pods into an automotive reverse lamp circuit. The problem being, while the vehicle is running there is a 8.5v current present on the reverse lamp power wire. Needless to say is that all LED pods and lights dimly illuminate while the 8.5v is present, so the LEDs are always powered on while the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the voltage changes to 12 volts.

I am uncertain how to convert this line into a switched 12v output line for the LED pods....
