Re: Asus x442u cant use adaptor
do you think this has something to do with this 5v shuffle voltage?
This is from your earlier posts. This power source is from the AC adapter.
How does this voltage reach the ACN / ACP pins if the mosfets are expected to be off?Comment

Re: Asus x442u cant use adaptor
then on pin 1234 rbfet 0v too, but on pin 5678 there is 5v
I also wonder why it can be like this, maybe there is a problem in the battery line, or is there a problem with the regn which is leaking and draining 5v?Comment

Re: Asus x442u cant use adaptor
Do you feel comfortable with the replaced charger IC ? Consider to flux it and hot air till it swims into place with tweezers. Just to rule out any possible shorts underneath the QFN package pins.
Also observing that the replacement is from TI vs. the original used by Asus. According to the internet, the 2 devices are cross compatible. Is this 100% confirmed ?Comment

Re: Asus x442u cant use adaptor
Thos is quite possible, since REGN is about 6V and is generated internally inside the chip. If possible, remove the chip and measure resistance between REGN and ACN/ACP pins on the motherboard. Maybe this is shorted not inside the chip, but on the mobo itself.Comment

Re: Asus x442u cant use adaptor
Check to see if you have a load switch at PU8802.
You are missing +3VA_EC. Yet, you have +3VA.
The load switch passes through +3VA to create +3VA_EC. Check the schematic posted earlier to compare against your logic board. If found, measure the voltage of the enable pin of this load switch. Post your updates.Comment

thanks sir, but do you mean the load switch is PU8001 on boardview?
IC which has 14 pinComment

after I changed the load switch then 3va ec appeared only 0.07v sirComment

by LvsitanoI am having some trouble with troubleshooting a Asus X532FL rev 2.0 motherboard, which does not power on. So at the first MOSFET, I am getting 19V at the drain, and then 3.2V on both gate and source (compared with ground). Of course, the 2nd MOSFET's source will have 3.2v at source.
First MOSFET is a QM3056M6 and 2nd MOSFET is a QM0930M3
I already checked first MOSFET and source and gate are not shorted (drain with source not shorted either). Also I have 1.7V at the LDO rail (measured at the keyboard connector, as the power button is on the keyboard).
