Huawei Honor Magicbook 14 2020 - no POST, only chg LED and kb backlight blinking

Hi all, having Huawei Honor Magicbook 14 2020 with Ryzen 5 3500U with no boot, no POST. Tried to reflash the BIOS, with no change. After power on it just flashes the white LED next to an USB-C port and keyboard backlight blinking as well. All power rails have correct readings, CPU starts heating and fan spinning later. I'm suspecting EC chip, ITE IT8987VG in BGA case. Any other suggestions what to check? Thanks.

Are you sure that the dump file is unlocked?

BTW do you have a bios dump for MagicBook 14 2019 KPRC-W10L?

Dump unlocked? I've used clean BIN file from Huawei, just to check. Laptop came to me with described symptoms, so I dump original bios and flashed clean bios.

It's a MagicBook 14 2020, not 2019, sorry.

After all, I've found I've got MagicBook 14 2019. EC replaced, tried several BIOSes from Huawei web, but still not working.

Attaching original BIOS dump, no guarantee of a functionality! Based on a dump analysis, looks like it's BIOS version 1.16

Latest update, I got bios dump from same working laptop, flashed it, but same behavior, same blink pattern. Any suggestions?

I see.. As for me I have sent my laptop for RMA as it is still under warranty. Hopefully it can get fixed.

Hello guys I have a similar laptop Huawei with ec problem, its coming on and the IT8987VG is getting very hot and no display, so i bought the ec chip but I don't have the pinout for the chip so that I can program it because I have a similar machine with a good ec which I can copy the ec bios. So I need the pinout for IT8987VG if anyone can help. I have seen some schematics with the same chip but does not show the pins on the ic. Thanks
