02.Go to bottom of the search window and you'll see 13 similar looking rows.
03.Double Click on the last row among similar looking rows
04.Click at the beginning of OFFSET 23 11,press Ctrl+E,select length 200 and click ok.
05.Note down the end offset(DE2288) and right click on it,select copy offset.
06.Now double click on the 1st similar looking rows.
07.Click at the beginning of offset 2311,press Ctrl+E, and put the end offset (DE2288) and press ok.
08.Click "fFill selection" and just press ok and save the file. Flash this Bios

That will zero fill all the onbaord ram data.

I hope i've detailed the process to the best of my abilities as i see lot of members are struggling with this issue.

Hope this will help a lot of members.

PS: The process is 100% correct as i myself has tested it. Be careful while going thru all the steps. may take a couple of attempts to get success in the beginning.

DONT EXPECT ANY SUPPORT FROM ME FOR EDITING YOUR BIOS.

mon2, its useless to watch those Youtube videos as they dont reveal the process and rather see a business oppurtunity in editing the bios. Unfortunate but bitter truth.

The process of onboard ram disable is same for all brands. Have tested this method on Lenovo and Asus so far and it worked in both the cases.

@ktmmotocross,Try selecting the block 783A00-7841CF AND ZERO FILL it. Not sure whether it'll work. This bios is different in structure.

i managed to edit the bios by selecting the block 783a00-7841cf and filling them with zero. after flashing the laptop with the edited bios. it displays but will take like a minute for it to display. But i still see the size of the disable ram. how can i fix this.

Hello, I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330S-15IKB [MB: 330S_KBL_MB_V06] [SN: YD04PY5P] with soldered RAM.

The customer reports that the computer was running, began experiencing graphical glitches, and shut down, never turning back on. When I connected it to the power supply, it showed around 350-400mA of power consumption, which remains there and never produces an image. I've measured the power supplies, and the voltages are correct. I suspect a RAM issue, which is common on these computers.

I need to disable them. Reviewing the schematic, there's no resistor configuration that would disable them.
I also know that on other models, they can be disabled by editing the BIOS with the SPD Removal Tool, but when I analyze my machine's BIOS, the tool doesn't detect any SPD information.
So I don't know how to disable the soldered memory. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?
I've attached the schematic and a backup of my BIOS just in case.

                          by brotank
I quiet struggling with board lenovo c681 to disable 4gb samsung onboard ram because they're faulty, I followed the instruction on the schematic to disable them with resistor codes but still not detecting the ram on the slot.

can someone disable onboard ram from my dumped bios, please 🙏

I tried the other bios on this forum with disabled onboard ram, but no success

my final try is to find someone that can help disable onboard ram in my dumped bios attached in this post.

after that I officially give up 😂

                          thanks for awesome jobs 😊...

Laptop freezes, sometimes no picture. POST every time with 4GB additional memory but still freezes in the windows.
SSD and BIOS seems to be OK.
                          Thank you....

Correct procedure to disable defective onboard RAM on Lenovo T14 gen 1?
                          by NoRelax
                          Good day,
In my hands I have a Thinkpad T14 gen 1 (20UD002BIX) showing sporadic BSOD issues caused by failing onboard soldered RAM. I suspect disabling the onboard RAM via a bios mod would do the trick.
The laptop has already the latest updates as well as latest bios 1.51 as of today.
I informed myself in an attempt to DIY my way to victory but it left me with more questions than answers. This is not a BIOS request, what I really need is somebody to verify that the following procedure is correct.

Step 1: grab a bios image:
                          - Method 1: from the official website:...

                          by maury94
Hi everyone, let me start by saying that I'm new and I don't know if this is the correct section in which to write the post. I have a lenovo V330-14IKB notebook with 4GB of built-in ram that doesn't work. Is there a way via bios to disable the integrated RAM memory and use only the external slot?

Acer A317-53 need help to disable faulty onboard ram
                          by b-slayer
                          Hello.
I have an Acer Aspire A317-53 laptop with faulty onboard ram modules, after online searches, I have only found two options to get it working :
                          - first one is to modify le bios to disable the onboard ram.
                          - second one is to disable the onboard ram by desoldering some components on the mainboard.

so after some hours google-ing, i have to give-up the modified bios option, main reason is I couldn't find anywhere a such modified Bios, alternate reason is that if windows update makes a bios update, the problem is always here...

so i found that my motherboard...
