Re: Magsafe capacitor or resistor identification
No. Not sure. You are correct that there is a SMD fuse (confirm with the silk screen that is covered in the pic).
Was there anything in the boxed in area? You can check with a meter on the wires going into this PCB. Does one of the wires reach the fuse (white SMD) ?Comment

Re: Magsafe capacitor or resistor identification
The 125v T5A refers to the (5R) ceramic fuse, under the fuse id ?00 there is a line that points to the value (125v T5A). The capacitor C010, which seems to be there, is likely a .1 or .01 cap and does not seem to be too critical.Last edited by R_J; 10-04-2021, 07:00 PM.Comment

Capacitor detached from PCB – RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition
Description:
During maintenance on an RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition, I found a capacitor lying on my desk after reassembly.
I did not notice it detaching, so I am unsure of its original location on the PCB.
Procedure performed:
- Removed backplate
- Cleaned heatsink and PCB with isopropyl alcohol + soft ESD brush
- Reapplied thermal compound
- Reassembled card
Observed behavior after reassembly:
- GPU powers on and operates normally under...11 Photos -

Hi there,
Beginner's question, sorry to waste your time...
I'm not certain of the values for the capacitor highlighted (on the picture with the tape) as I am seeking a replacement. Am I correct, looking at the schematics) to think it is a 33 pico Farad (pf) 25 Volts? The size seems to be 0201 from what I can assess and when I try to source a replacement, I'm struggling to find one and it doesn't look like something common.
Any help or suggestion welcome. This is on an Asus FX506H Quanta NJJ DANJJMB1AA0 Rev 1A... -

I am trying to repair an ancient Dell 2209WA Monitor which suddenly shut off with a pop sound. On investigation found that one of the fusible resistors had blown. Further investigation identified multiple components as faulty because of which the fusible resistor blew. Please refer the attached circuit diagram showing the components that were found to be damaged.
1. FR950 - blown fusible resistor - 0.2 Ohm 1W
2. Q950 - shorted Q950 MOSFET - 650V 10A N Channel Mosfet
3. R835 - Blown Resistor - 20KOhm SMD resistor
4. D930 - Shorted Schottkey Diode...-
