        Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
        by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
        by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
        • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
        • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Samsung UN55HU8550F - No picture, No sound
        by KYBOSH
Previous owner says this unit powers on and sometime has an image and sometimes not. They attempted to replace the main board but with no success.

TV came with the replacement mainboard as well as the original.

When the TV turns on there is no image or sound. No response to the remote or toggle button other than the power button. The power supply's relay was clipping here and there. It did that for several seconds even after I removed the mains. I did this even with no other boards connected (only the backlight was connected at the time). Backlight looks fine but...

Dell XPS 13 9370 Laptop, No power, not charging
        by rob_hen
        Hello!

This is my first post for help, and I am quite newer to board repair, so bear with me.

I have this board here (LA-E671P), with no power, and doesn't charge. No lights come on when plugged in.

After visual inspection of the board, U22 is obviously blown up. This is the for backlight, and there is no shorts present after removing the chip and replacing.

There is 3 USB C ports to power this board, USB 1 gives 20V, while 2 and 3 only give 5V.

My observations using USB 1 at 20V (0.075A draw on Ammeter, slowly drops from 0.136A)...
