iPad 8th gen "not charging"

This week alone I have seen four 8th gen units in for not charging. Passes dock and tristar tests. Boots up with battery.

Before I start swapping chips around I want to know if anyone has seen this? Don't want to waste time reballing a PMIC for nothing.

Have you tested with other known good cables?

Do you see the charging ICON upon docking of the cable to a power source / charger on any of the units ?

Is this after some update?
