    HP ProBook 440 G3 what happen?

    hi everyone ?

    HP ProBook 440 G3 DA0X61MB6G0
    problem is black screen with consumption 0.4 to 0.8 Amp on PSU

    i open the laptop i try to power up the laptop again from Pwrbtn Pins but suddenly the laptop dead

    short on 3.3v rail
    i inject 2v on 3.3v rail and the cpu becomes hot and a lot of components shorted around the cpu
    is that means the cpu is gone and what is the cause of this damage? .

    CPU dead. I've seen quite a bunch of these boards with dead CPUs, including replacement ones straight from HP...
