Macbook Touch Bar Stuck on the update error message

Hello Guys

I need your help with a macbook touchbar stuck on the update

"a critical software update is required for your mac. connect to a network to install this update"

Im getting the above error and i can not continue at all, it keeps on going back there, i reinstalled iOS, I did the updates, but still looping back on that same error message

Please assist me guys im stuck now

You can also try the Apple configurator 2 tool but you need a second macbook for that. Beware that if you do a recovery, all data will be lost.
