Hi guys ,
So , I have this 4730s laptop - Inv RAMONES (6050A2465501-MB-A02)
When I got it , I checked for shorts and checked the resistance.I could not detect any shorts but it would not power up.
So , I flashed the main and EC bios - and after that it would start normally.
However , after several starts (at different times/days) I now notice that the DC jack led will sometimes blink continously.And then nothing happens
There is no 3V & 5V -
Sometimes the laptop will power up all by itself , as soon as I plug in the power supply.Sometimes it will also shut off by itself.
When it powers up , all by itself , the led on the power switch is lit - and the current goes to 1600mAmp.
When it shuts down the current will drop to 15 ~ 25 mAmp.
On other times I can power it up , with the power switch.Sometimes it may take several tries.And then the current is ~ 1400 ~ 1600 mAmp.
So , my question is , is there something not good with the new bios bins that I used to flash the main and EC bios chip ?
I will post the original main and EC bin that I have saved from the bios chips.
Can some of you , check them and say if ther is something wrong with them ?
And can you say , why I have these different situations ?? Or do you have any suggestions what to try ?
