i've seen on interne that it could be a bios related problem

after that, powering up the mac, the apple logo appeare after a lot of seconds and stuck there with fan at full speed.

so i've tried one bios downloaded from internet but not laptop is dead (even with the original dump)

i cant power on it anymore with battery or power supply. i've light on mag safe but it is completely dead

if i disconnect the battery, connect magsafe and reconnect the battery, fans start to sping fast-slow-fast-slow-fast-slow

Bios requests go in the "Bios Requests ONLY!" forum here:

        https://www.badcaps.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=40

Start a new thread or find an existing 820-3332 thread to post in and attach your bios backup in a zip or rar,and also post the serial number

        .

How to program a specific flash region of a Nations N32G455RE MCU?
            by Nikan.e
            Greetings and salutations!

I have a device that uses an N32G455RE. Unfortunately, its flash got corrupted. I have a dump of a working chip.
How can I program a specific region of the flash or the whole flash without touching the RAM, option registers, etc.?
I do not have a J-Link debugger and won't buy one, as I am not rich.
I have flashed a Nucleo board with an ST-Link to a J-Link just to find out that the ST-J-Link only supports ST chips.

What would be the cheapest and easiest option to program the Nations chip's flash without touching registers etc.?...

Thinkpad t480s, completely dead after BIOS flash using CH341A programmer
            by what_1282105
Following this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/co...g_and_flashing) i re-flashed my t480s BIOS using an external (CH341A) programmer. The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. The revert, however, didnt work: the only thing the computer does is flash the power button 3 times when AC power is connected. I've tried unplugging the CMOS battery, holding the reset button and holding down the power button- no signs of life....

Winbond 25Q16JWNIG – Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 G814JZ bricked after wrong flash – Need help
            by Vincent Kahle
            Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me.
I have an Asus ROG Strix Scar 18 (G814JZ) laptop with a Winbond 25Q16JWNIG chip on the motherboard.

Unfortunately, I flashed the wrong file (BIOS/EC/other region – I'm honestly not sure anymore), and now the laptop is completely dead: no display, no fan spin, no reaction at all.

I have a CH341A programmer and I'm able to read and write to the chip. However, I'm not sure which software is best (AsProgrammer, NeoProgrammer, etc.) or if there's anything specific I should watch out for.
            A valid BIOS/EC backup...

Request: SPI Flash BIOS Dump (Winbond 25Q128) for Dahua NVR4216-4KS2
            by spmetroil
            Hello,

I am trying to repair a Dahua NVR4216-4KS2 that is not booting.
The main BIOS/firmware is stored in an SPI flash EEPROM (Winbond 25Q128, labeled as U130 on the PCB).

I have a CH341A programmer and I already attempted the following steps:
            1. Identified the correct chip (W25Q128, 3.3V SPI flash).
            2. Tried to read the contents with CH341A Programmer software. The dump seems corrupted and I often get the error: “Chip with the contents are in disagreement.”
            3. Compared several chip type selections (24Cxx and 25Qxx families) to confirm it is indeed a 25 series SPI
            ...
