    Lenovo W520 Help needed.

    Hi all Need some help. With a lenovo W520 H0222-5 lkn-3 ws48 4ke37

    This machine keeps turning it's self on. with and without windows installed or even without a HDD installed. If i shut it down in windows it will restart after shut down. If i remove HDD it will post to looking for a bootable device. When i press and hold the power button till it goes off after couple of seconds it will start up again.

    I have disables wake up etc in bios and updated the bios and still the same. Any info would be great.

    Removed all cards (WiFi, WWAN, whatever…)?

      Hi thanks for the heads up. I have tried it with it all removed still the same.

        Unplug keyboard/power button array and see if it stops?

          Remove Lan chip and it is likely to solve your problem.
