If you have a short to ground on PP5V_S0 then track it down by injecting some voltage and finding the chip that gets hot.

Yo pier you were on right on target my friend...Just before i was about to inject I was checking associated caps and resistors for short and finally noticed some corrosion on C8080 which looked dark...So i went to L4010 and it was beeping both sides....So i removed C8080 ..It came off very easily....And I checked L4010 and short was gone....Plugged in DC Jack and Fan spin and all is good..Thanks a million for your expertise my friend..A microscope is definitely needed to properly inspect boards for visual cues...Will try to get one asap..
