HP DA0R62MB6E1 Rev E Startup problem

    Hi all
i have the above motherboard which has the 19v rail, on PL11 i have 2.5v(battery coil), i have on BIOS and KBC 3.3v, power button 3.3v BUT i do not have the 3&5 V rails AND THERE IS NO SHORT.
the PL22 (3v coil) gets the voltage from a capacitor pc223. pc223 one side has 4.89v and the side connected to the coil is 0v. capacitor is not short.
same with PL24 (5v) is connected to pc234 witch on one side is 4.89v and the other side which is connected to pl24 is 0v.
on IC PU9 and PU10 the S5_ON pins are 0v.
Tracing S5_ON is comming from KBC3940.
is it a problem with KBC!If YES
    is there any compatible IC!
On power switch i have 3.3v and when i press it goes to 0V and then to 3.3v.
on PQ32 one side is 19v and the other side is 2.5V charging mosfet

    Please advice

    Thanks

Check pin11 of PU9/10 for shorting. What is the voltage on PIN 1/6/7/11 of PU9??

      Thanks for the reply

      on pin 11 of pu9 i get 3.3v
      on pin 11 of pu10 i get 5v

      pu9 pins

      1- 19v
      6- 3v
      7-0v
      11-5v

It seems ok, Pin7 no voltage output is expected when EN is missing. Missing S5_ON is the issue. Try replacing KBC. I dont think there is any alternative to Ene3940.

However, before going for kbc replacement, have you checked all the requirement of kbc??

Not really because i thought if i do not have S5_ON then there is problem with kbc.
keep in mind that PQ32 Mosfet on one side i have 19v and on the coil side 2.5v.
            does this matter!

            Thanks

For any IC to work, you need to check its basic requirement first. If all the requirements are not met, definitely no output. Same applies to kbc as well. Pq32 is not bothering me at this stage. first we need to fix 3/5 alw line.

first u need to fix 3VL line for KBC standby. without it u dont have EN signal for 3/5V.

PQ32 one side is 19v and the other side is 2.5V normal. Is there a light in the capslook led lamp, blink. its need bios programming
I'm not happy to be so strong. because it's not humanly

Magnum IA.100 Amplifier Switches on, No Output, Possible Input Side fault?
                      by flibidy
I have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.

The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.

Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.

                      What Ive done........

Lenovo E15 Nm-c421 usb-c work only in one side
                      by bouny56
                      Hello

                      Laptop E15 I5 10gen
                      Mb nm-c421

I have a problem with the usb-c power dc.
The motherboard start only in one side of the usb-c

Replace the usb-c port 2 times same problem

With the usb-c meter, one side 20v ok, other side the usb-c meter don't come on

Try to test the pin with the Mechanic Tail insertion tester and every pin are ok ?

Can the pd controler be the fault ? Or something else maybe ?

                      Thx

A2442 MacBook Pro 14" Two Left SIDE USB C ports charge but no data
                      by Stephen
Right SIDE usb.c port charges and transfers data without issue, two left side uSB c ports charge but do not receive or see data. Was liquid damaged, and repaired significantly and thought we were in the clear but appears this is the last issue that is rearing its head. I am trying to locate the RETIMER chip that communicates the DATA TX/RX but I cannot seem to find it on the schematic or maybe I am just so tired my eyes wore out lol. Any help would be great.

Xilence XP600 600w ATX PSU - No PWM Controller on primary side - how does it work?
                      by dicky96
                      Hi guys
I have a faulty Xilence ATX PSU here

The fault basically is I have two short circuit power transistors on the primary side of the large SMPS transformer - they are 2SC3320.

There is another smaller transistor on the primary side C3866 which tests ok

The PSU has three transformers - it looks like the 2SC3320's drive the big one and the C3866 drives one of the small ones. There is a separate PFC PCB with it's own controller and MoSFETS

There is also a short on the 3.3V output and a near short on 5V - I suspect this probably blew...

DELL Latitude 5520 - charging only on one side of usb-c

                      DELL Latitude 5520
MB: South Peak 15 MB (DDR4)
Charging only on one side of usb-c on both ports. I have replaced one of the ports but still the same. Checked for short, nothing is getting hot under thermovision. Usb meter is not coming on one side, on the other is coming on and showing 20V.
Any sugesstions where to look for fault?
