    hello everyone
i have a hp whit mobo zso50-a944p that dont detect hdmi when conect to a tv
i measured all values in the schematic in hdmi cpu line output wich says that need 1v in hdmi data lines and 1.8 in hdmi hpd, ddclk & ddcdata wich i have

Sure it's not a software issue? GPU drivers up-to-date? Tried Linux LiveUSB?
Make sure the HDMI port is not damaged.
If everything is good, measure in diode mode to ground DDCCLK and DDCDATA, and check with the oscilloscope if you have a clock on DDCCLK and data being exchanged on DDCDATA.

      Thanks for your response
I already tried with live usb but no luck
When connect the hdmi I have 2 different voltages for ddcclk and ddcdata is that normal?
In other good working laptop hdmiport I measured and ddcclk & ddcdata have similar voltajes but in the defective laptop theres like .5 volts of difference betwen ddcdata and ddcclk

Voltage measured with multimeter in DC voltage mode? What about diode mode to ground?

yes voltage mode in dc get in ddcdata when its not conected the hdmi port is 3.81v,when is conected 3.51V diode mode gets 515
ddcclk gets 4.15v when its not conected, 3.60v when it is conected diode mode gets 515 to
this values are in hdmi port output in cpu lines get 1.8v both lines

              The board is LA-F411P ,DELL 5590 ...

The screen polarises,no backlight,no image, only black screen, tried another screen, the same,so there is no backlight, but there should be an image when i shine a lamp behind the screen, but there is none...only dark screen...when screen is connected and i press F8 to turn the image over to the external monitor, the external monitor gets coloured bars ,but when i disconnect the cable from the EDP ,the HDMI picture is good...What could be the problem? I don't have another edp cable, but i measured it with meter and it comes out good...i am baffled......

Hi! Help me please troubleshoot this laptop.

Recently, about 3 moths ago, laptop came to my service with code 43 on discreete nVidia VGA card N18P-G62-A1. For some time user was running 3D games on integrated video. Mats had shown errors with VRAM chip. I`ve decided to replace all of them and also had to reball videochip. Everything worked fine.

Now it returned with no image on LCD nor HDMI. Still, laptop seem to boot fine, it plays logon sound, connected USB devices are recognized when plugged in. But no IGFX voltage appears on CPU, only for short time (fraction of second)...

Marantz SR4003 AVR HDMI board issue, seeking for help
              by aliougm
I have problem with my AVR(Marantz SR4003) HDMI board issue. I connect to my TV but screen color distorted, see attached picture.

              Connection as below:
              Set-top box HDMI output >AVR 3 HDMI input/one HDMI output>HDTV HDMI port
If I bypassed AVR then HDTV screen color be good.

I take out HDMI board from AVR and check services manual the schematic shown the HDMI signals path:
              3 HDMI input port > SIL9185 chip(HDMI switch) > SIL9033 chip(HDMI receiver) > SIL9030 chip(HDMI transmitter) > HDMI output port

              I replaced all...

Certain DisplayPort-HDMI cables can disable HDMI CEC communication
              by japlytic
With a setup including a TV and AV receiver where HDMI Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) and Audio Return Channel (ARC) functions were working, these two functions stopped working after changing some connections (not the one between the AV receiver and TV), so I believed it was a corrupt setting in the AV receiver or TV, but when I disconnected a passive DisplayPort-HDMI cable (which a Multimode DisplayPort connector supports HDMI with a low cost passive cable or adaptor) connected to a home theatre PC, HDMI CEC and ARC functionality was restored.
An examination of the HDMI CEC wiring...

              Toshiba 50UL2063DB randomly rebooting with HDMI-CEC and/or HDMI-ARC enabled
              by spleenharvester
I have this TV hooked up to only an AppleTV 4K and a Creative soundbar. Originally HDMI-CEC and HDMI-ARC wouldn't work at all, I replaced all the HDMI cables with decent UGREEN cables meeting the latest standards, now it all works perfectly but once or twice a day the TV itself reboots while watching a program, the AppleTV keeps running. I haven't fully pinned down whether it is ARC or CEC causing it yet. All are running latest firmware.

I assume it is just HDMI-CEC being buggy as usual on a shitty Vestel machine, but can anyone think of anything I can try before disabling it?
